Some might call me a caffeine addict, I prefer coffee achiever. I drink strong black coffee and plenty of it. I can't indulge in the truly gourmet coffee and still afford to keep a roof over my head, and I'm not about to drink the swill they sell pre-ground at the grocery store. Thanks Melissa! No, you can get rid of the coffee smell - rinse out the can and let it air dry well. The bagels do keep longer if you wrap them in a bag and then place them in the can.
I freeze sliced bread, comes back to life nicely in the toaster oven!
